Grants to Improve Access to Governance and Compliance Resources

Ascend GRC Launches Grants to Improve Access to Governance and Compliance Resources

Company News

Ascend GRC is committed to supporting organisations that drive positive social, environmental, and economic change. To further this commitment, the organisation is developing grants to help eligible entities access Ascend GRC’s governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) resources more affordably.

These grants are designed to assist organisations that align with one or more of the following priorities:

  • Support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

  • Provide dedicated support to ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF)

  • Operate as an educational institution, such as a school, university, or training provider

  • Promote economic development in countries outside Australia in alignment with the UN SDGs

By reducing financial barriers, these grants will enable organisations to strengthen their governance and compliance frameworks, ensuring they can operate more effectively while meeting regulatory and ethical obligations.

Enabling Impact Through Governance Support

Strong governance and compliance structures are essential for organisations working in socially and economically significant sectors. However, access to expert training, tools, and advisory services can sometimes be cost-prohibitive. Ascend GRC’s grant initiative will provide financial assistance to ensure that impactful organisations can benefit from high-quality compliance resources without excessive financial strain.

The grants will cover a range of Ascend GRC’s offerings, including:

  • Governance, risk, and compliance training programs

  • Compliance advisory services

  • Risk assessment and policy development support

  • Access to GRC technology solutions designed to streamline regulatory processes

Eligibility and Application Process

The grant program will be structured to ensure that funding reaches organisations where it can have the greatest impact. Eligible organisations will be required to demonstrate their alignment with the grant criteria, as well as how improved access to GRC resources will enhance their capacity to achieve their mission.

Ascend GRC is currently in the final stages of developing the application framework, with further details on eligibility, funding allocation, and the application process to be released soon.

Looking Ahead

With the introduction of these grants, Ascend GRC aims to foster stronger compliance cultures within mission-driven organisations, ultimately contributing to global sustainability, economic development, and support for those who have served in the Australian Defence Force.

Organisations interested in applying for the grants or learning more about Ascend GRC’s initiatives can contact info@ascendgrc.org.

Further updates on the grant program will be provided in the coming months as Ascend GRC continues its commitment to making governance and compliance resources more accessible and impactful.
