Empowering Not-for-Profits & Institutions Through Matched-Funding Grants
At Ascend GRC, we believe that strong governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) practices are the foundation of sustainable and resilient organisations. However, for many not-for-profits (NFPs) and educational institutions, financial constraints often stand in the way of accessing high-quality GRC training solutions.
To bridge this gap, we are proud to introduce Ascend GRC: 100 – a grants program designed to provide matched funding for 100 organisations, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to navigate governance challenges effectively.
What is Ascend GRC: 100?
Ascend GRC: 100 is a match-funded grant program that helps NFPs and institutions access Ascend GRC’s Learning Management Systems (LMS). Through this initiative, organisations can receive:
Dollar-for-dollar matched funding – Ascend GRC matches every dollar an organisation invests in its governance and compliance learning solutions.
No cap on organisation size – Whether large or small, all eligible NFPs and institutions are encouraged to apply.
12-month payment plan – Successful applicants can opt for flexible payment solutions, spreading costs over time instead of requiring upfront payments.
The grant supports two core solutions:
Ascend GRC: e-Learning | Access – A platform providing ready-to-use GRC training programs for professionals and organisations.
Ascend GRC: e-Learning | LMS – A customised in-house learning management system, designed for organisations needing a tailored approach to GRC training.
Through Ascend GRC: 100, we aim to ensure that NFPs and institutions have the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to improve governance, manage risks effectively, and meet compliance requirements.
Who Can Apply?
The Ascend GRC: 100 grants program is open to all registered not-for-profits and educational institutions in Australia. To be eligible, an organisation must align with at least one of the following priority areas:
✅ Supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
✅ Providing dedicated support to ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF)
✅ Operating as an educational institution (schools, universities, training providers)
✅ Promoting economic development internationally in alignment with the UN SDGs
✅ Supporting people with disabilities
✅ Advancing access to justice and the legal system
✅ Promoting free and open trade and migration
If your organisation is working to create a positive social, economic, or environmental impact, this grant is an opportunity to build stronger governance and compliance capabilities at half the cost.
Why This Matters
Strong governance structures are critical to the long-term sustainability of NFPs and institutions. However, many organisations face challenges such as:
Limited funding for professional development
Lack of structured governance training
Compliance risks due to evolving regulations
By investing in governance, risk, and compliance training, organisations can:
Improve accountability and decision-making
Strengthen risk management frameworks
Increase funding and donor confidence
Ensure regulatory compliance
The Ascend GRC: 100 program ensures that cost is no longer a barrier to accessing world-class governance and compliance training.
